Alexander Dennis, a Cookeville, TN native, brings a unique perspective to criminal defense at The Law Office of Douglas K. Dennis. Growing up immersed in the world of law with his father, a criminal defense attorney, Alex has spent countless hours discussing cases and fostering a deep understanding of the criminal justice system.
Education & Experience
He further honed his analytical and advocacy skills during his undergraduate studies in Political Science at Tennessee Technological University, representing the university in international mock UN competitions. Alex even explored a potential career path with the FBI before his experiences as a temporary Assistant District Attorney and summer internships with his father solidified his desire to advocate for individuals within the criminal justice system.
After graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Law, Alex spent a year assisting the firm with complex cases before taking on his own clients in 2023.
